"I started fishing before I can remember in our farm pond. I can remember fishing with my Papaw and Daddy for hours on end and never wanting to go home. This passion for fishing has never died.
"With the building of Toledo Bend in my back yard it was natural to start learning it. With the help of a high school friend we set out to learn Toledo from North to South. We spent every day we could exploring this entire 186,000 Acre reservoir. Catching weighing and releasing more fish than most people have ever seen. This adventure has lasted my entire life. I have fished many tournaments through the years on Toledo Bend and was looking to make that step up to the next level.

"Just about two years ago I decided to start fishing tournaments on other lakes to improve my knowledge of the sport. I now have fished a full year on the Everstart series and Bassmaster Central Open division as a Co-Angler. Even though I had a new Ranger 520 boat that I would take to practice from. I would put the cover on it and watch and learn from the pros on tournament day. This allowed me to pay close attention to what they were doing, be it good or bad. I now am stepping up to the next level for 2005. Fishing the pro side of ever tournament I can get into with my work schedule.
"During a guide trip I will educate you on how to catch more and larger fish being the main goal I strive for, a day on the water with me will prove to be a learning experience and a memorable one as well. By understanding the behavioral patterns of the fish, you will learn how to trigger them into striking many different lures under many different conditions. The tournament techniques that I have developed and refined over the years will be taught to you, as you battle one of the toughest swimming freshwater species of fish."
